The case has been filed: Oldani v. Ford Motor Company, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, Case No. 2:26-cv-12866.
The case concerns the poor rollout of Ford's BlueCruise driver-assisted technology and its problems. BlueCruise has gone through two revisions since its first version. We would like to hear from owners who have experienced:
- Difficulty updating BlueCruise
- Problems with lane changing
- Poor or inaccurate BlueCruise mapping
- Trouble recognizing static objects, including distinguishing people from inanimate objects
Models from 2021–2026 are potentially affected. Drivers are in potential danger.
BlueCruise has been offered across numerous Ford and Lincoln vehicles. Depending on model year and equipment, BlueCruise has been available on versions of the:
